Primary responsibilities include: Identifying new business opportunities, maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships, selling high-end furniture and interior design projects, rugs, lighting and accessories to interior designers, architects, decorator`s, project-specifier`s, custom home builders, contract firms and hotels within a defined geography.
This position will target high potential markets across state lines, using business development activities including but not limited to: cold calling, appointment setting, product presentations, networking, extensive traveling, event management and attendance.
Additionally, the Inside/ Outside Sales Representative will work towards strengthening business relationships and maximizing the penetration opportunities with existing customers, by updating product catalogues and libraries with clients that typically purchase/ or have the potential to purchase between $50,000 and $250,000 in products per year.
Associate schedules may vary based on business needs but could include three days showroom work/ two days outside visits or two days showroom work and three days outside visits. Showroom and Design Center business hours are traditionally Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5 PM with weekends off.
